Corrections Policy

How to flag a mistake, how we review it and how meaningful changes are recorded.

Last updated:

Send a correction

Identify the article URL, the statement you believe is wrong, the proposed correction and a dated primary source where available. You may also report a misleading headline, image credit, translation or missing context. Use our correction contact route or email info@mykonosnoir.com. The form prepares an email draft for you to review and send.

Review and response

We compare the request with the original evidence and seek further confirmation where needed. Material factual errors, safety implications and rights concerns receive priority. Disagreement with an interpretation alone does not establish a factual error; substantiated challenges are still considered. We do not promise a fixed resolution time before understanding the issue.

A visible record of meaningful changes

A substantive correction should carry a dated note explaining what changed and, where useful, why. New developments are labelled updates; a clarification explains wording without presenting it as a newly discovered fact. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a correction notice. A story needing withdrawal or major revision should carry an explanation where lawful and appropriate. Relevant corrections are reflected in both language editions.

Reply and privacy

People and organisations materially concerned by coverage may submit a sourced response for editorial consideration. Publication is not automatic and does not require accepting unsupported claims. Private contact details and correspondence are not published merely because a correction was requested. Rights and privacy requests can also be raised through the same contact address.
