Your choices
External maps are off by default. Accept all, Reject all and individual provider choices are available without restricting access to the publication. Use Cookie settings here or in any page footer to change or withdraw consent. Closing the settings without saving does not change your choices. Newsletter consent is separate.
Necessary cookies and browser storage
Cloudflare sets __cf_bm for protection against automated abuse. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. Depending on security checks, Cloudflare may also use challenge-related storage such as cf_clearance. These are security functions, not our audience advertising system; provider documentation explains the applicable lifetimes.
The localStorage entry mykonosnoir-privacy-v1 remembers your two map choices, policy version and choice/expiry times for 180 days. It contains no email address or visitor identifier. Expired or invalid choices turn maps off. Session storage entries __vinext_hard_navigation_target__ and __vinext_rsc_initial_reload__ may prevent repeated page reloads; they are technical navigation guards, limited to the browser session. If preference storage is unavailable, choices apply only to the current page.
Optional external content
OpenStreetMap supplies the flight-map background. Once allowed, your browser requests map images from tile.openstreetmap.org, exposing an IP address and connection information to the provider. Aircraft positions and travel boards are retrieved through our server; allowing the map background is a separate choice.
VesselFinder supplies an embedded vessel map. Once allowed, the frame connects directly to VesselFinder and may use its functional, analytics and advertising cookies or storage. Its current vendor and cookie choices are governed by its own policy and settings. We do not activate this frame before your permission. Our permission enables the external content; it does not replace any additional choices requested by the provider.
Withdrawal and deletion
Rejecting or disabling a provider immediately removes its map and prevents further map loads by this page. This does not undo information already transmitted or erase cookies on a third-party domain. Use the provider’s controls or your browser’s site-data settings to remove those. Deleting our preference entry resets choices to off and asks again. Ordinary external links open another website only when you follow them.
