INDEPENDENT ISLAND INTELLIGENCEMYKONOS, GREECE · THE SEPTEMBER EDIT
MYKONOS NOIR

Culture, hospitality, events and what moves Mykonos.

ABOUT THE PUBLICATION

One island. A considered perspective.

Mykonos Noir is an independent English-language editorial and intelligence publication focused exclusively on Mykonos.

Mykonos Town · Joe deSousa

A curated view of the island.

We follow culture, hospitality, events, art, gastronomy and the forces shaping Mykonos. Our readers include visitors and residents, cultural producers, hospitality professionals and people planning gatherings on the island.

Selection is part of the work. The Radar records developments with lasting relevance; What’s On gives meaningful dates a place in the diary. Delos Watch brings archaeological and cultural context into a publication about the island next door.

Editorial standards

Confirmed
Supported by the identified source, within the limits stated in the record. An operator announcement is evidence of what the operator says; it is not an independent site inspection.
Probable
Credible reporting or corroboration exists, but direct confirmation is still missing. Readers are told what would establish the fact.
Unconfirmed
The available evidence does not establish the claim. These items do not become confirmed calendar events.
Editorial interpretation
Our analysis of significance or planning relevance. It is distinguished from the underlying sourced facts.

Sources, in order

Venue and organiser statements; ministries, municipalities and cultural institutions; heritage and archaeology authorities; brand and hotel-group material; trusted trade press; reliable local reporting; and secondary travel reporting when needed. The individual record always names the actual source used.

We do not invent attendance, opening dates, capacities, partnerships or demand figures. The absence of a verified listing is not proof that an event did not happen.

Dates are part of the story

Every factual record has a status and a last editorial check. A current website masthead, copyright year or search-engine crawl is not treated as an event date. Completed programme dates leave the current calendar and remain available as an archive.

Corrections

A correction should identify the article, explain the issue and provide a dated source where possible. Substantive updates will be recorded in the entry’s timeline, alongside the revised editorial check.

Commercial clarity

Coverage does not imply a commercial relationship. The launch edition carries no paid placements. Any future sponsored material will require clear labelling and a separate editorial policy.

Photography

Photographs identify their subject and creator. Named venues and programmes use directly related imagery where available. Read the image credits and licences.
